Why come together, reflect, and seize new developments as AISHE users?

Some people may ask what the purpose of such events is in a fragmented world. Coming together, reflecting on the future, and seizing new developments, which you as AISHE users know so well, is absolutely essential. Some may claim that we are now in a deglobalizing world, but in reality, we have to re-globalize this world. We have to set our strengths in cooperation because, as mentioned earlier, we face issues that are of existential importance for humankind.  The future is at stake, and there is much discussion about whether humankind can cope with so many challenges simultaneously. We are not in a world of multi-crisis, but we are caught in deep systematic transformation processes. There is a sensitive difference between crisis and transformation. In a crisis, one wants to return to the original point as soon as possible, but in a transformational situation, one has to manage change to come out at the end of the transformation in a better situation compared to the beginning. ...
