OpenAI Discontinues Support for Codex API

On March 23rd, 2023, OpenAI made an announcement that they will be discontinuing support for the Codex API. The API was initially introduced as a free limited beta in 2021, and it has maintained that status to date. However, with the advancements of OpenAI's newest GPT-3.5 models for coding tasks, they will no longer be supporting Codex and encourage all customers to transition to GPT-3.5-Turbo.
